By entering into an agreement between the customer and Adore My Wig according to the procedure described in these General Terms and Conditions, the customer accepts these conditions. Disclaimer & Warranty – GlamLace Human Hair Wigs
At Adore My Wig, we strive to provide our customers with high-quality products and excellent service. To keep expectations clear, we apply the following guidelines for Human Hair wigs.
1. Warranty on manufacturing defects
We apply a warranty period of 1 month after purchase for manufacturing defects*.
Problems within this period are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We strive for an appropriate solution, provided the wig has been used and maintained properly.
Always report a manufacturing defect within the warranty period. Preferably contact us within 5 working days after discovery. For proper assessment, we may ask for clear photos or videos of the problem.
If there is a recognized manufacturing defect within the warranty period of 1 month, we strive to resolve the problem as soon as possible. We apply a maximum period of 3 months for this.
What is considered manufacturing defects*
• Excessive hair loss immediately after receipt (with normal use).
• Elastics or bands not sewn on properly.
What is not considered manufacturing defects:
• Cap size, construction, color, or density chosen at the customer's request and approved during the fitting appointment.
• Aesthetic preferences afterwards (such as: “I find the hairline too full” or “the wig looks unnatural”).
• The fit of the wig after it has been checked and accepted together with the customer during the consultation.
• Wear from daily use, heat damage, insufficient care, or the use of products other than those recommended.
• Small color deviations: all our wigs are hand-colored. This can cause slight color differences compared to a previous model, sample, or photo. This is part of the artisanal character of custom work.
• Frays or damage to the lace as a result of wearing, cleaning, or styling.
Note: The warranty is void in case of misuse, insufficient care, or when the wig has been altered by third parties (for example cutting, coloring, or bleaching).
We do not provide a warranty on the lace. ‘Fraying’ of the lace is a normal phenomenon. Lace is a fragile, handmade part of the wig.
The lifespan of this strongly depends on use and maintenance. We always advise handling the putting on and taking off and the lace carefully.
2. Wear and replacement of lace frontal
It is normal for the lace frontal to show signs of wear over time, such as:
• Hair loss at the roots
• Hair strands that can break
The speed at which this happens varies per user. Daily wear, friction, heat, products, and careless brushing can significantly shorten the lifespan.
Replacement lace frontal always at your own expense
The price depends on color, length, and density. Our manufacturer supplies custom lace frontals (from €550). Based on availability. Replacement frontal by our wig maker costs €95 or you can choose to do it yourself using our instruction video.
3. Fit, wearing comfort, and feedback
During the fitting appointment, we spend ample time finding a suitable fit and correctly putting on the wig.
Still, it can happen that after purchase you experience questions or discomforts such as the feeling that the wig does not stay in place properly.
In such cases, we offer the following one-time free service:
• A free video consultation, where you can ask questions live to a hairpiece advisor.
• Or you send a video showing how you put on the wig, so we can provide targeted feedback.
If you prefer to come in person for a follow-up appointment, we charge consultation costs of €75. These costs cover time, advice, fit analysis, and any adjustments.
Important: A wig is a personal and custom-styled product. Exchanges afterwards are not possible.
4. Consultation costs
A follow-up consultation after purchase incurs consultation costs of €75. This fee covers the time, attention, and expertise of our hairpiece advisor, including advice on setting up, styling, fit, and adjustment options.
5. Exchange policy & sizing
We do not have a standard exchange policy. Each wig is custom cut, styled, and fitted, making it a personalized hygiene product. Exchanges afterwards are not possible. During the initial consultation, we take ample time to carefully adjust the fit, size, and styling.
If we exceptionally and as a courtesy allow an exchange and the lace of your wig has been cut, we charge the costs for replacement lace frontal and cleaning of the wig starting from €550.
6. No right of withdrawal
When purchased during a fitting appointment or for custom-made products, the right of withdrawal expires, due to:
• Personal adjustments
• Hygienic nature of the product
• Direct contact with the scalp
For that reason, returns are not possible.
7. Usage tips – Maintenance and care
Our Human Hair wigs are made from carefully selected hair of the highest quality. Each wig undergoes a strict quality control before it is finished and handed over to the customer. Human Hair is and remains a natural product, and just like your own hair, it can feel dry or stiff if not cared for properly or if the wrong products are used. This is not covered by the warranty.
It is essential to follow the care instructions carefully as advised in the above manual.

Be extremely careful with the lace front to minimize hair loss. Hair loss is inevitable, especially with lace constructions due to the delicate knotting process.
Tips to reduce hair loss:
• Use only soft brushes, no fine combs or hard brushes, especially not on wet hair.
• Always brush from bottom to top and be careful during styling.
• Avoid oils, conditioners, masks at the roots; use them only on the lengths and ends.
• Do not scrub the hair during washing, but gently smooth the products through.
• Minimize the use of styling products and wash the wig as little as possible.
8. Delivery time
Our delivery time is on average 5 weeks. This is an expected delivery time and not a guaranteed delivery date, as we work with artisanal craftsmanship and international shipments. We always do our best to deliver within this period, but delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.

Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
1. Additional agreement: an agreement whereby the consumer acquires products, digital content and/or services in connection with a remote agreement and these goods, digital content and/or services are delivered by the entrepreneur or by a third party based on an arrangement between that third party and the entrepreneur;
2. Reflection period: the period within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal;
3. Consumer: the natural person who does not act for purposes related to their trade, business, craft or profession;
4. Day: calendar day;
5. Digital content: data produced and delivered in digital form;
6. Continuous agreement: an agreement aimed at the regular delivery of goods, services and/or digital content over a certain period;
7. Durable data carrier: any tool - including email - that enables the consumer or entrepreneur to store information addressed personally to them in a way that allows future consultation or use for a period aligned with the purpose for which the information is intended, and that allows unchanged reproduction of the stored information;
8. Right of withdrawal: the consumer's ability to cancel the remote agreement within the reflection period;
9. Entrepreneur: the natural or legal person who offers products, (access to) digital content and/or services remotely to consumers;
10. Distance agreement: an agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer within the framework of an organized system for distance selling of products, digital content and/or services, whereby up to and including the conclusion of the agreement one or more techniques for distance communication are used exclusively or partly;
11. Technique for distance communication: means that can be used to conclude an agreement without the consumer and entrepreneur having to be present in the same room at the same time.

Article 3 - Applicability
a. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Adore My Wig and to every distance agreement concluded between Adore My Wig and the customer.
b. Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions is made available to the customer. In addition, these general terms and conditions can be downloaded from the homepage of the website www.adoremywig.com
c. Dutch law applies to every agreement between Adore My Wig and the customer.
Article 4 - The offer from Adore My Wig
1. If an offer has a limited validity period or is made under conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.
2. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the offered products, digital content and/or services. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow the consumer to make a proper assessment of the offer. Adore My Wig uses images; these are a truthful representation of the offered products, services and/or digital content. Please note that the color of a product may differ due to, for example, screen settings.
3. Each offer contains such information that it is clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are connected to the acceptance of the offer.
Article 5 - The agreement
1. The agreement is concluded, subject to the provisions of paragraph 4, at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions attached to it.
2. If the consumer has accepted the offer electronically, Adore My Wig will immediately confirm receipt of the acceptance electronically. As long as the receipt of this acceptance has not been confirmed by the entrepreneur, the consumer can dissolve the agreement.
3. If the agreement is concluded electronically, Adore My Wig takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and ensures a secure web environment. If payment is made electronically, Adore My Wig will observe the appropriate security measures.
4. Adore My Wig may, within legal frameworks, verify whether the consumer can meet their payment obligations, as well as all facts and factors relevant to responsibly entering into the distance contract. If Adore My Wig has good reasons based on this investigation not to enter into the agreement, it is entitled to refuse an order or request with motivation or to attach special conditions to the execution.
5. Adore My Wig specifies the conditions for the right of withdrawal below.
Article 6 - Right of Withdrawal
For products:
1. The consumer can dissolve an agreement regarding the purchase of a product during a reflection period of at least 14 days without giving reasons.
The (customized) wigs are excluded from the right of withdrawal because they are specially made to measure. Therefore, these may NOT be returned unless otherwise stated on the website.
Exchanging or canceling an order is only possible if an error has occurred on the part of Adore My Wig. Our wigs and the associated customization options are considered custom work. The right of withdrawal therefore does not apply. After payment, the process is initiated. Adore My Wig wigs are packaged with a special seal to demonstrate that strict hygiene guidelines have been followed.
Adore My Wig depends on the delivery times of the postal service and therefore cannot guarantee that a wig will be delivered within a certain timeframe. If a wig is needed urgently, please contact Adore My Wig first for possible pickup options. If the order arrives later than expected, it cannot be canceled or returned.
2. The reflection period mentioned in paragraph 1 starts on the day after the consumer, or a third party previously designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, has received the product, or:
a. if the consumer has ordered multiple products in the same order: the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by them, has received the last product. Adore My Wig may, provided that the consumer has been clearly informed about this prior to the ordering process, refuse an order of multiple products with different delivery times.
b. if the delivery of a product consists of multiple shipments or parts: the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by them, has received the last shipment or the last part;
c. for agreements for regular delivery of products over a certain period: the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by him, has received the first product.
Article 7 - Obligations of the consumer during the reflection period
1. During the reflection period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging carefully. He will only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. The principle here is that the consumer may only handle and inspect the product as he would be allowed to do in a store.
2. The consumer is only liable for depreciation of the product resulting from a way of handling the product that goes beyond what is permitted in paragraph 1.
Article 8 - Exercise of the right of withdrawal by the consumer and its costs
1. If the consumer exercises his right of withdrawal, he notifies this within the reflection period. The instructions are stated at https://adoremywig.com/retourneren/
2. As soon as possible, but within 14 days from the day following the notification referred to in paragraph 1, the consumer returns the product. The consumer has observed the return period in any case if he returns the product before the reflection period has expired.
3. The consumer returns the product with all supplied accessories, if reasonably possible in original condition and packaging, and in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the entrepreneur.
4. The risk and burden of proof for the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal lies with the consumer.
5. The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the product. We recommend returning the product with track & trace. Adore My Wig is not responsible for a missing return shipment. Adore My Wig reserves the right to withhold the shipping costs incurred.
Article 9 - Obligations of Adore My Wig upon withdrawal
1. Adore My Wig must first receive a video of the product after which we will send the return address. We keep the customer informed once it is received and checked.
2. Adore My Wig uses the same payment method for refunds that the consumer used, unless the consumer agrees to a different method. In case of a return or cancellation, we reserve the right to withhold additional provider fees such as Klarna, PayPal, or Credit Card. This is an extra percentage calculated at checkout.
Article 10 - Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
If you have chosen modifications such as cutting the lace or adding an elastic band, the wig is considered custom-made and cannot be returned.
The wig must be returned in the condition in which it was received. This means that the lace must not be altered, the hair must not be washed or treated with heat, and all packaging materials must be present.
Every return shipment is inspected before the refund is processed. In case of signs of use, the return shipment may be refused or €50 may be deducted from the refundable amount.
When trying on wigs, it is mandatory to use the supplied wig cap to keep the inside of the wig fresh and clean.
Article 10.1 - Fitting appointments and right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires when purchasing a wig during a fitting appointment / or in the popup store, due to customization, adjustments, and exposure to external elements that can no longer guarantee hygiene and quality. Returns after a fitting appointment are therefore NOT allowed.
Article 10.2 - Damage and right of withdrawal
1. Damage to the wig as a result of own actions, such as paint, lace damage, or other damage caused by careless and negligent treatment, is not covered by the right of withdrawal. Adore My Wig accepts no responsibility for such caused damage.
2. If the wig quality decreases due to not following the treatment instructions provided by Adore My Wig, this results in exclusion of the right of withdrawal.
Article 11 - The price
1. Adore My Wig reserves the right to adjust prices.
Article 12 - Performance of agreement and additional warranty
1. The best achievable quality of our wigs can be guaranteed when our recommended tested care products from the shop have been used and the correct instructions have been followed.
2. Warranty conditions Human Hair
Our Human Hair wigs from the GlamLace collection can last 1-3 years with proper care and maintenance. We do not offer a warranty on wear of the lace frontal. It may be necessary to periodically replace the lace frontal. The frequency of replacement depends on use. Some customers use their wigs for more than a year without ever needing to replace their lace, while others need to replace it sooner.
Wear on lace frontal
The thinning of lace (hairs breaking/fraying) is a normal phenomenon. The speed at which this happens depends on use and the degree of wear. Lace parts are made by knotting a single hair strand to a piece of lace. Our manufacturer bleaches the knots to give the most realistic appearance possible.
Scratching the lace as if it were your own scalp, rough brushing or combing, use of styling tools can, for example, cause faster wear.
We can discuss the options for a new lace frontal through our manufacturer. The costs for the lace frontal and replacement are at your own expense. These costs may vary depending on the density/color/length of your Human Hair wig. Schedule an online consultation to have your lace frontal replaced.
3. Warranty conditions Synthetic hair
We do not offer a warranty on synthetic hair wigs. It is normal that synthetic fibers quickly feel less due to friction. This is a characteristic of synthetic material and falls outside our warranty conditions. Synthetic wigs can generally last 1 to 6 months, depending on the degree of use and care.
Article 13 - Delivery and execution
1. Adore My Wig will exercise the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders of products and when assessing requests for the provision of services.
2. The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has made known to Adore My Wig.
3. A return and any refund will take place within 14 days after receipt of the product in its original condition.
4. The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Adore My Wig until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a previously designated and known representative to Adore My Wig, unless expressly agreed otherwise. If there is a loss, an investigation will be started with the carrier.
Article 14 - Duration transactions: duration, cancellation and extension
Cancellation:
1. We do not yet work with subscriptions.
Article 15 - Payment
1. Unless otherwise specified in the agreement or additional conditions, the amounts owed by the consumer must be paid within 14 days after the start of the reflection period, or if there is no reflection period, within 14 days after the conclusion of the agreement. In the case of an agreement for the provision of a service, this period starts on the day after the consumer has received confirmation of the agreement.
2. Prepayment to start production in consultation.
3. The consumer has the duty to immediately report inaccuracies in provided or stated payment details to the entrepreneur.
4. If the consumer does not meet his payment obligation(s) on time, after being notified by the entrepreneur of the late payment and the entrepreneur has granted the consumer a period of 14 days to still fulfill his payment obligations, after the absence of payment within this 14-day period, the statutory interest is owed on the outstanding amount and the entrepreneur is entitled to charge the extrajudicial collection costs incurred by him. These collection costs amount to a maximum of: 15% on outstanding amounts up to € 2,500; 10% on the next € 2,500 and 5% on the following € 5,000 with a minimum of € 40. The entrepreneur may deviate from the mentioned amounts and percentages to the benefit of the consumer.
5. We use Klarna as the provider of our checkout. This means that we may transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the checkout is loaded, so Klarna can manage your purchase. Your transferred personal data is processed in accordance with
Klarna's own privacy statement. Jon Renau is excluded from the Klarna & AfterPay payment methods. In consultation with the supplier, we determine whether the sale is binding. We reserve the right to cancel the order.
Article 16 - Complaints Procedure
1. Adore My Wig has a sufficiently publicized complaints procedure and handles the complaint in accordance with this complaints procedure.
2. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur via the email address info@adoremywig.nl within a reasonable time after the consumer has discovered the defects, fully and clearly described.
3. Complaints submitted to the entrepreneur will be answered within 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeable longer processing time, Adore My Wig will respond within 14 days with an acknowledgment of receipt and an indication of when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer.
4. The consumer must give Adore My Wig at least 4 weeks to resolve the complaint through mutual consultation.
Article 17 - Disputes
1. Only Dutch law applies to agreements between Adore My Wig and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions relate.
Article 18 - Additional or Deviating Provisions
Additional or deviating provisions from these general terms and conditions must not be to the detriment of the consumer and must be recorded in writing or in such a way that the consumer can store them in an accessible manner on a durable data carrier.
