What are synthetic wigs made of?
Our synthetic wigs are made from GlowFibre, a high-quality, exclusive synthetic fiber specially developed for a natural look and a soft, light feel. GlowFibre has a subtle shine and falls smoothly, making it resemble real hair.
What is the difference between artificial and real hair?
Real hair feels natural, falls more smoothly, and has a lace that is hardly visible. Man-made hair, on the other hand, is ready to wear, keeps its shape – even in the rain – and does not fade in the sun. It is more affordable and ideal for switching between different styles. Man-made hair, however, lasts much less long.
What is the lifespan of a synthetic wig?
The lifespan of a synthetic wig is 1 to 6 months, depending on use and care. Longer lengths wear out faster due to rubbing.

We do not offer free fitting appointments for these, so that we can give each customer the calm and attention that suits her situation.

Can I wear the wig without glue?
Yes, that is possible thanks to our improved fit. In combination with our Wig Grip Band, your wig stays firm and comfortable – without glue. This is a true must-have!
How do I put on the wig?
1. Flatten your hair (braid or wrap)
2. Put on the wig grip band
3. Optionally, a wig cap over it, just behind the silicone strip
4. Then put on the wig
Can I sew the wig on?
No, we advise against this. Sewing on speeds up the wear of the lace and fibers. Instead, choose a glueless installation or a light gel/glue. Our advice is not to sleep with the wig on.

How do I properly wash my synthetic wig?
1. Spray cold water on your wig and gently detangle
2. Fill a basin with lukewarm water + 1-2 caps of mild shampoo
3. Let soak for 30 minutes
4. Rinse well with cold water
5. Let soak again for 15 minutes with conditioner or fabric softener
6. Rinse and let air dry on a wig stand
Important:
– Do not use a hairdryer
– Do not comb the hair when wet
– Use only products for synthetic hair
How often should I wash my wig?
Wash your wig every 4–5 weeks or sooner if it feels stiff. Always detangle the hair first.
Which products should I use best?
Always use products for synthetic hair, such as:
• Wig Control Spray (daily)
• Wig Shampoo (with every wash)
• Water mix with 1/3 capful of fabric softener
Tip 1: Buy the Control Spray & Shampoo specially selected for the synthetic (Futura HD Plus) wigs from Adore My Wig. You can use the Control Spray daily to keep your wig looking good longer. It is recommended to wash your wig weekly with the Control Shampoo. Choose the Wig Musthave Deal now to save on these products. You can also purchase the Wig Control Spray & Shampoo separately.
Tip 2: Preferably do not wear your synthetic wig during sports or other intensive activities. Have no other choice? Then tie the hair back! The synthetic fibres are of the best quality, but it is better to avoid too much rubbing.
Tip 3: Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to detangle the hair. Always start from the bottom up! This is the best way to cause as little damage as possible.
How do I clean the lace?
Use a microfiber cloth and gently dab with only water. Do not pull or scratch.
How do I store my wig when I am not wearing it?
Use a wig stand or a satin storage bag. Avoid sunlight, dust, and dampness.

Can I wear my wig in a ponytail?
Certainly! You can easily wear the hair in a low ponytail.
Can I make my own parting in the wig?
Some synthetic wigs have a fixed parting (middle or side). Do you want to decide the parting yourself? Then choose a lace frontal such as: • 4x4 • 13x4 • 13x6 The numbers indicate the inch area within which you can create your own parting.
Can I have my synthetic wig cut shorter?
Yes, this is possible. We can professionally style your wig. Price from €30. Please contact us.
Can I dye my synthetic wig?
No, synthetic hair cannot be dyed. You can style or curl the hair up to a maximum of 160°C.
How do I style my synthetic wig with heat?
Use heat tools up to a maximum of 160°C. For curls, you can also use rollers in hot water. Always let the hair cool down first.
May I sleep or swim with my synthetic wig?
Better not. This causes tangling and wear more quickly. Still want to do it?

How does the return process work?
In-store purchases: Cannot be returned.
For online purchases:
You have 14 days to return your order for a refund (in new condition). Not possible if there are signs of use or if you have chosen customizations.
1. Send an email to info@adoremywig.nl marked for Returns with a photo of the product for assessment.
2. You will receive a response to your return request by email as soon as possible, including further instructions and return details.
3. After approval, you must send the product back to Adore My Wig. Costs are at your own expense.
During the reflection period, you must handle the product and packaging carefully. You may only unpack the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you wish to keep it.
The product must be returned to Adore My Wig returned with all supplied accessories and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging. The full order amount including shipping costs will be refunded within 14 days, provided the product has been received back in good order.

May I return my wig?
At Adore My Wig, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not fully content with your online order (Adore My Wig collection), you have 14 days to return the product. Please send an email to do so.
Note: Returns are only possible if the product is in its original condition, as delivered – unworn, unwashed, and with intact lace and labels.
Wigs for which you have chosen the option "lace cutting" or "elastic band attachment" cannot be returned.

May I pay the return costs myself?
The costs for returning to the online store Adore My Wig are at your own expense. These costs amount to approximately 6.95 euros per package; please consult the website of your chosen carrier for the current rates. We recommend sending your package with a Track & Trace code so that your package is traceable. Adore My Wig is not responsible for lost return packages.
When will I receive my refund?
The costs for returning to the online shop Adore My Wig are at your own expense. We will wait to refund until the product has been received in good condition, after which the full order amount including shipping costs will be refunded within 14 days.
The refund will be made using the same payment method you used earlier, unless you agree to a different method.
Do you offer a warranty on artificial hair?
We offer no warranty on synthetic wigs. Tangling and wear of the lace are normal with synthetic hair, especially with daily use.
My wig quickly gets tangled at the back. What now?
This is caused by rubbing on the neck. Our tips:
• Gently comb the neck area after each wear
• Work from bottom to top with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb
• Use a Wig Control Spray
• Wear the hair more often in a ponytail or a braid

Can I return or exchange my purchased wedge in the salon?
No, purchases made in the salon cannot be
returned or exchanged. During a fitting appointment, the wig is specially
adjusted and personalized for you. Due to hygienic reasons and
direct contact with the scalp, returns are not possible.
Is there a reflection period if I buy my wedge in the salon?
No, when purchasing in the salon, the legal right of withdrawal expires. This is because it concerns a personal and hygienic product that is tailored to your wishes.
What if I notice after purchase that the color or style does not suit me after all?
We understand that this can be bothersome, but even in that case, returning is not possible. Our experts will assist you during the fitting appointment to choose the right color, length, and style, so that you are completely satisfied before the purchase.
May I return my wedge if I have not worn it yet?
No, even unused wedges cannot be returned after purchase in
the salon. Once a product has been tried on or altered, it is considered a
personal and hygienic item and the right of return expires.
What if my wedge has a manufacturing defect?
If there is a demonstrable manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7
days of purchase. We will assess the product and
work together to find a suitable solution. Please note: this does not apply to
damage caused by improper use, care, or styling.

How often should I wash my GlamLace Human Hair Wig?
We advise washing your wig every 4 to 5 weeks, provided you wear it regularly. Always use our Shea Moisture Bundle (shampoo, conditioner, and mask) for the best result. First, comb the hair from bottom to top to remove tangles and gently pat it dry with a microfiber towel.
Which products am I allowed to use?
Always use sulfate- and alcohol-free hair products. Sulfates and alcohol dry out the hair, leading to damage and frizz. Preferably choose our recommended products such as:
- Shea Moisture Bundle
- Color Wow Pop & Lock Serum
- Color Wow DreamCoat Spray
May I use conditioner or oil on the lace?
No. Always apply care products only from the middle of the hair to the ends. Products on the lace can cause the hairs to come loose.
Can I dry my wedge with a hairdryer?
Better not. Let the wedge air dry on a towel or on a stand. Heat can damage the hair, especially around the lace. If you do use heat, always use a heat protector.
How do I prevent damage to the lace?
The lace is delicate. Tips to avoid damage:
- Avoid rubbing and do not pull on it
- Do not use heat directly on the lace
- Spray a little Ebin Spray/hairspray on the inside of the lace to prevent fraying
May I use heat for styling?
Yes, occasionally. Always use a heat shield and limit the temperature to a maximum of 160°C. If you want beautiful curls in the hair, you can also use a heatless curler set on wet hair and let it dry. Be careful at the roots/lace to prevent damage.
May I wear my wig in the sauna or steam bath with a steampod?
No. Heat and steam weaken the lace. Do not use a steampod and avoid saunas.
How do I best store my wedge?
Store your wig on a wig stand or in a satin storage bag. Avoid damp places and direct sunlight. This prevents tangling and preserves the shape of the wig.
Can I sleep or swim with my dental splint?
We advise against it. If it is necessary, wear a satin cap or swim cap. Note: chlorine and saltwater can damage the hair.
How do I maintain my separation?
Change your parting regularly (middle, side, or no parting) to prevent wear. Use a wax stick or alcohol-free foam to style the new parting. Wetting the hair also helps with adjustment.
May I sew my wedge in place?
No. Sewing your wig shortens the lifespan of the lace. It is better to take off your wig while sleeping.
Warranty & Service
Do I have a warranty on my GlamLace Wig?
Yes, you have 1 month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as:
- Excessive hair loss immediately after receipt
- Elastics/straps not properly sewn on
Not covered by warranty:
- Wear from daily use or styling
- Fraying lace
- Cosmetic preferences afterwards
- Fit approved during the consultation
Note: warranty is void in case of misuse, insufficient care, or if the wig has been altered by others.
Do you replace the lace frontal when it wears out?
Yes, but this is at your own expense. Our lace frontals start from €550 (custom-made, depending on color/length). The fitting by our wig maker costs €95. You can also do this yourself with the help of our instruction video.
What if my wig does not stay in place properly?
We offer a one-time free video consultation or you can send a video showing how you put on the wig. Would you like to come by? Then we charge consultation fees of €75 for a fit analysis and adjustments.

How long is the delivery time?
The expected delivery time is 1-3 working days. If you place an order before 3:00 PM, the package will be sent the next working day. You will receive a track & trace code by email, so you can always follow your package on the PostNL website.

I have given a wrong delivery address, can I change it?
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address is provided correctly. If you have given an incorrect delivery address, please contact our customer service via WhatsApp as soon as possible. Provide the correct delivery address and order number.
However, we cannot guarantee that we can change the shipping address for you, as your order may have already been processed.
Can I pick up my order?

We do not have contracts with health insurers. In some cases, it is possible to claim reimbursement afterwards yourself – please check this with your insurer to be sure.
